Coomandook Ag Bureau Compendium of
Previous Agricultural Works
The Coorong Tatiara Local Action Plan has received funding from Natural Resources SAMDB to produce a compendium of past and present agricultural trials and work conducted within the local area. The catchment of this report is predominantly the cropping regions of the area from Coonalpyn through to Cooke Plains, North to Moorlands and Geranium, and west to include Field and the Malinong ranges. This compendium is assisting the Bureau to gain access and ownership of historical agricultural work. The Coorong Tatiara LAP engaged agricultural consultants, Felicity Turner and Tanja Morgan in July 2015 to compile this resource. This publication provides a summary of results, along with hyperlinks to where further information can be found for each project. This resource will be updated over time, and will help the Bureau build on previous projects through links with similar farming systems Australia wide.
This project is supported by the South Australian Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme and the NRM Levy.
The topic areas covered include:
- Land Management and Dryland Salinity
- Precision Agriculture
- Broadacre Agronomy
